Client Galleries:

Client galleries are hosted externally via Pixieset (https://pixieset.com/privacy), which is fully GDPR-compliant.

To view your gallery, you may be required to enter your name and email address. This information is securely stored within Pixieset’s system and is only used for gallery access, notifications, or related communication (e.g., download reminders or print store updates).

Your information will never be shared, sold, or used for unrelated marketing purposes.

Client Data Held on File:

As part of normal business operations, Carmen Sherred Photography securely stores the following client information:

  • Names
  • Email addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Home addresses
  • Wedding dates, venues, and timelines
  • Signed contracts and questionnaires

These are stored securely within Studio Ninja and password-protected personal devices (laptop, iPad, and phone), as well as backed up to encrypted external drives.

Images are stored securely on password-protected hard drives and backed up to a GDPR-compliant cloud service for safekeeping.

Clients and Guests Captured in Photos:

Under GDPR, photographs may be considered personal data if they can identify an individual.
Carmen Sherred Photography photographs wedding clients and guests under the lawful basis of “legitimate interest”, as photography is necessary to document the event.

Guests are captured naturally as part of the day. It is the responsibility of the client (the couple) to inform their guests that photography will take place and to direct them to this privacy policy if they wish to learn more.

If any guest wishes to request the removal of a photo in which they appear, they can contact carmensherred_photography@hotmail.com and I will review the request promptly.

Social Media Usage:

Carmen Sherred Photography maintains profiles on social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
I will never request personal or financial information via these platforms.
Please verify the authenticity of any communication claiming to be from me before sharing personal details.
